Well…it’s Fire Prevention Month so I thought it would be appropriate to share the 2009 St. Paul Firefighter’s calendar that I shot a while back. The year has passed so I am not giving anything away for calendar sales but maybe these guys will stick in your mind and remind you to check your fire alarms, etc. this month! I have to say, the best thing about this shoot were all of the guys’ great personalities and life stories {a few are showcased in their photos}. Every one of these men are true heroes and I think them greatly for their professionalism and commitment to the task {they prepared great for the shoot date}!! This was the first calendar the St. Paul Fire Department shot and raised a ton of money for their charity and squad! I decided not to go forward with shooting any more calendars after this one {so the years after 2009 were shot by someone else in case you have seen them} but I was honored to be asked for this first one!
