I wanted to add a little personal decor to my back entry that could be both decorative and functional. So I came up with this simple project.
Step 1:
Gather materials
Materials Needed:
A piece of wood cut and sanded to your desired length {I used a scrap piece of pallet wood}.
A staple gun
A hanger and nail
Rope or twine
A hammer
A scissors
Step 2:
Add a picture hanger to the back of your board.
{Tip…. The tab from a pop can works great as a picture hanger!!!!}
Step 3:
Staple your twine or rope in place at the top of the back of your board then tie it tight around the staple to secure it.
Step 4:
Wrap your rope or twine around your board several times until you get to the bottom of the board. then you will staple it to the back of your board and tie a tight knot around the staple again to secure it in place.
Final step, add your own cute photos, cards, etc.!
