I’ve been enjoying working with the “B” family over the past few months on updating their home. They are a young family with 3 young children, and as busy as they are, they are go-getters when it comes to home improvement projects! I give them an idea and they jump right on it!! So I thought I’d share with you their simple kids bath transformation.
Here are the before pics of the bath…

Very basic, a little too “kiddsie” {have you noticed I like to make up my own words??} for a bathroom that guests use as well.
So here are the after shots!

Here’s what we did:
Added a touch of color to the walls~ Sherwin Williams, Rainwashed
{I kept it light since this room has no natural light coming in.}
Painted the vanity and medicine cabinet above the toilet ~ Rust-o-leum, Painters Touch, Black in Satin
Added new shower curtain and towels from Target {This line is no longer available. We got it on clearance!}
Added some fun accessories that are not only cute, but functional for storage. {ie. Galvanized pot to hold tooth brushes, etc.}
We removed the towel bar and added a cute arrangement of hooks and a hanging basket for towel and wash clothes. {I found these items at Homegoods. Stay tuned for our Monday tutorial on how to create this look with pallet wood.}
Added a framed mirror over the vanity. {I found this one at Lowes.}
Added knobs to the cabinet doors and drawers.
Simple and affordable updates that anyone can do to update a basic bathroom!
