Red, white and blue is the color scheme of my summer porch and the American flag is the inspiration behind it all. I don’t know about you, but I still get goosebumps when I hear our National Anthem or feel a little choked up when I hear Alabama’s, “God Bless the USA”. I remember the months after 9/11 how everywhere you looked, there was an American flag being proudly hung. There seem to be fewer these days, but there is no shortage of flags on my porch.
Tomorrow, June 14th is Flag Day in the United States. I’m hoping this post may inspire some of you to put up a flag of your own!
