Fab Finds for a Summer Porch

It’s been a while since we shared some of our fab finds so I was excited to do up my porch because I knew I’d have some there to share!! 1st I need to start with my favorite… little blue Bessie! I had been wanting a vintage bike so bad and one day my husband called me from a church sale where he found this beauty! He had sent me a picture over my phone asking if he should buy it. I replied back, “How much?”. He replied “$3″, so I immediately called him back yelling “buy it!!!”! He bought her and I was ecstatic. Sadly, she has become a bone of contention between my husband and I as he didn’t realize I wanted her for a decoration on our porch. He thought I was actually going to RIDE her?!! LOL silly boy…

Our most recent fab find was this awesome antique scale that we found for $25. It’s in great condition and the color of blue was perfect for my porch!

Christi - I love your bicycle! What a find! I recently found a pair of vintage bicycles…one red and one blue. I had planned a wonderful Fourth of July display in my antique booth, but a lady bought them as soon as I rolled them in the store. She said she is going to use them for her Bed and Breakfast. She also said she planned on putting a metal plate on the bikes with the name of her B&B! Isn’t that a great idea?! I can’t think of any better way to advertise.
