One of the days while in Hawaii, Brant and the kids stayed on Oahu and I left for my photo shoot on the Big Island. I took a short plane ride early in the morning and shot for Paul Mitchell’s Awapuhi Farm {I’ll be sharing these amazing photos on Friday}. While on the island, I spent the day touring while taking advantage of my rental car. I saw so many amazing places, trails, foliage, ocean and more {I had a great date with myself all day long}. I found this amazing cove where the real surfers hang out. The wind and waves in the cove are intense and unforgiving but these guys made it look effortless and fun. I sat on a rock a photographed several surfers in amazement but this guy was the best. You really have to be quick to freeze their action!
