Valentine Paper Fortune Cookies

What You Need…

1. 8.5×11 Cardstock {this project does not work with plain paper, it needs to be a thicker stock}

2. Printer with colored ink

3. Scissors

4. Double-Sided tape, Glue Dots, Glue Gun, etc. {Your Choice}

This is so simple and it can be used for Valentine’s Day, a Wedding Favor, etc.  All you need to do is print the PDF {see below}, cut out the shapes and fold.  You can make your own “fortunes” if you wish…like “Joe and Mary’s Wedding” or “Thank You!”, etc.

Steps…

1.  Cut out the shapes on the printout.  I made the “fortunes” long enough for you to choose how long to cut them.  As they are, they are long enough to hang out the sides of the “cookie”.  I cut mine shorter {as to hide them in the “cookie”} plus cut an angle to the ends.

2.  Fold the circle in half and slip in your “fortune”.

3.  Hold your half folded circle while you press the bottom middle to fold again.

4.  Glue the “cookie” into it’s shape.  I used double-sided tape but a glue stick, glue, glue dots or a hot glue gun would also work.

This is what the printable will look like.
